Overview
Milestone Smalls are made from solid timber off-cuts. Wood is unpredictable because it can shrink, warp, split and crack. If you want to exchange an item for the same item, we are happy to do this, fill in the enquiry form at the bottom of this page.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received to be eligible for a return.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
We do not offer returns on gift cards and sale items. Only regular priced items may be refunded.
How to complete your return for refund or exchange
To complete a return, fill in the enquiry form below with your order number, contact details, purchase date and reason for return. Please indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange. We be in contact with you to request any further details required and provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Your purchase should then be returned to us at you nearest return point for inspection. The return shipping is at your own cost. Once the inspection process is complete and if your return is approved, we will proceed with your refund or exchange.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. Your payment will be refunded via PayFast or paid directly into your bank account depending on your original payment method.

Exchanges
We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange.
If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should return it to:
- Milestone Factory at Milestone Farm, R614, Wartburg, 3233 (between 7:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Thursday or 7:00am and 3:30pm Friday) OR
- Our Showroom at 52 6th Street, Parkhurst, Randburg, Johannesburg (between 9:00am and 5:00pm Tuesday to Friday or 9:00am and 2:00pm Saturday) OR
- Our Warehouse Unit 1, Ravenscraig Mews, 6 Ravenscraig Road, Woodstock, Cape Town (between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday or Saturday by appointment)
Make sure your RMA Number is on your package when it is returned.
You will be responsible for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the initial shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
